easter snowbunny

between playdates and feeling a bit under the weather, haven't posted in a little while. a foot of snow fell just before easter, so we made a little snowbunny in the front yard. the carrot as a nose seemed a bit cruel to me. it's always right in front of him ...

we just got back from library storytime and a playdate at her house. boo was super excited at all the new toys (new to him, at least). "i found a wallet!" (her cute pearl easter purse). "i'll make this warmer" (putting stuff in the toy microwave). then he saw the thomas set in the box right before we were about to go. he really wanted to open that one, but it was naptime for two kids ... so it was constant time-outs before we got out of the house. actually, he has even started to put himself in timeouts, i think he kind of realizes when he needs a little quiet time. it's a little bewildering. one time he even asked me if he could have a longer timeout.

this morning DH went in to see boo when he woke up, and i was right behind him. he was having a good time reading stories on his daddy's lap, and looked up at me and said very sweetly, "mommy, please go bye bye." they grow up so fast.
