Have you heard the joke about the lady who can't board the plane with her knitting project because of terrorism? Authorities were afraid she would knit an Afghan.
we're throwing a little going away party for a couple of our knitters, and evite now lets you customize everything. so i lifted a pic of some gorgeous sock yarn for the background, and will have them rsvp to "who's knitting?" as: "Coming for the sheep thrills!" "I'll have to check my gauge" and "Baaa humbug, unwinding elsewhere."

I love it!! The RSVP phrases are too hilarious!! You know what is bizarre, in France they actually DON'T use "RSVP" at all. I tested it on a few colleagues and got blank looks. Not even a clue as to what it stood for either!
They just say, (in French obviously) please provide a response.
