one of the few comics that i still read in the paper these days :)this reminds me of a paragraph that DH read in "Generation Me: why today's young americans are more confident, assertive, entitled -- and more miserable than ever before." to quote: "Will you always hate going to work? Yes. It is a way of life. There is a support group for it called Everyone, and they meet at the bars on Friday." the book argues that everyone in our generation is set up for failure/unhappiness because our expectations for fulfillment are too high.
