viking!

finally finished! 2 victories: not only is the costume essentially done, but i also finally got him to try it on (by bribing him with the prospect of viewing bobthebuilder.com).

note the knitted hat, the faux fur cape (hard to see in this pic), faux fur boot trims, and duct tape cuffs/belt :)

the hat is knitted from a pattern i found on ravelry. made it larger (the original pattern is for an infant), did a slip stitch in the bobbles to make the rivets stand out more, put in an extra row of seed stitch in the gray part, and made the horns a tad shorter. love it!
